In our classroom world now, SEL (social emotional learning) shows necessity to be integrated throughout the school in order to benefit such expansion needs of our students. Beyond a standard school curriculum, the question begs--- what else can we do to weave in throughout the day to plant seeds and create opportunities of lightbulb a-ha's and heart-touched minds? Come to this presentation to discuss school culture, classroom climate, and teacher regulation as a primary model to train students to utilize and integrate self-regulation skills more frequently.
This session will review the power of positive relationships with students and parents in Tier 1 to increase a sense of belonging and well-being. Many different resources will be presented and time to review these resources will be provided.
